Heat, Humidity, Heavy Rain, Thunder & Lightning: That’s what area residents experienced on the evening of August 24th. Tornado sirens went off in the area, people reported it taking over an hour to get home from Owosso due to down trees in the roadway. Residents in the City of Ovid sought shelter at City Hall and many experienced power outages.
