In Ovid, community members lined up to pick up Thanksgiving meals “drive thru style” at the Lions Hall. They had 230 pre-ordered meals and ended up packing up nearly 300 dinners to go. “We had a successful day due to the help of Suzanne, Character and Randy, who prepared the wonderful food, members of Scout Troop 585 and their families and our Lions members. The people were very generous with the donations, we collected $1,800 from those who appreciated the effort,” said Lions member, Mary Perrien.
