Photographers, Marie Spiess and Keith Kingsbury used their snow day to capture the beauty during a winter snow storm that dumped several inches of snow in the area on Wednesday, February 3rd.

Local DPW crews worked overtime on Wednesday and Thursday, February 2nd and 3rd cleaning up the streets after Mid-Michigan was hit with heavy snow fall, the first real accumulation this winter. Most schools in the area were closed for the two days due to road conditions from the storm. Pictured here is Rich Simpson, Ovid DPW Superintendent and crew members as they clear Main Street in downtown Ovid.
