Wolfpack Girls Bring Home Post-Season Honors Following Stellar 16-6 Soccer Season in 2022

LAINGSBURG — Coach Natalie Elkins’ Wolfpack girls soccer team advanced to the MHSAA Regional Finals for the second-straight season in spring, 2022 … and now they’re getting the recognition that goes with it.

The Wolves crafted a 16-6 overall lrecord, 7-2 in conference play. All-Conference honors went to 1st-teamers Lorna Strieff, Emma Koenig, Grace Elfring, and Desire Knoblauch, Addison Elkins and Emily Gutzman on the 2nd team.

In addition, All-District plaudits went to 11players from the Wolfpack: Lorna Strieff, Dani Winans, Grace Elfring, Callie Clark, Emma Koenig, Coach Natalie Elkins, Brooke Putnam, Dakota Ballard, Addison Elkins, Emily Gutzman, Desire Knoblauch and Joy Antcliff.

All-Region recognition went to Lorna Strieff, Desire Knoblauch, Addison Elkins and Joy Antcliff.

Finally, All-State honors were garnered by Strieff on the 2nd Team, and Elkins, Knoblauch and Antcliff as Honorable Mention selections.
