OVID-ELSIE — Domination. That singular word best sums up Ovid-Elsie’s girls basketball victory over the Durand Railroaders here January 4.
Coach Ryan Cunningham’s Marauders shut out Durand in the first half en route to a 60-17 victory, that kept O-E perfect at 6-0 overall, 3-0 in the Mid-Michigan Activities Conference (MMAC).
Evalyn Cole and Braeden Tokar each scored 14 points for the Marauder girls, who led 31-0 at halftime.
Caitlyn Walter added 10 points. Walter had four steals and four assists.
Jade Garske had eight points for Durand, which fell to 4-2 overall, 2-1 in the MMAC.
