Elsie Dairy Festival Returns

The 2021 Elsie Dairy Festival returns to downtown Elsie on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, July 8th,9th and 10th. This year the committee elected to HONOR all past Parade Marshals from 1986, Merle Green, the first chosen through 2019, Tom and Mary Hughey and everyone in between.

“The festival will be very “Kid Friendly,” explained committee spokesperson, Carolyn Long. “We have lots for kids to do especially on Friday which includes a kiddie tractor pull and petting zoo located in the tent behind the big cow,” she said. Saturday will also see the return of the 3on3 basketball, a corn hole tournament for all ages and of course the midway, provided by Anderson Amusements.

The main stage will feature a local talent show on Thursday evening. Friday evening you will be entertained by Jim Pontack, a “Homegrown” one man band and on Saturday evening, Mixed Nutz, a country/variety band.

There’s still time to take part in the following events: Talent Show, Parade, 3on3 and corn hole tournament. Applications can be found online at ElsieDairyFestival.com. See pages 8-12 for schedule of events and lots more 2021 Dairy Festival information.
